I am now back home from Sarpa Lake. It was some what different experience, from what I ever done before.We were in a camp where we stayed at a tent. There were only kitchen and Office that were only bigger tents. Everything have to be done by hand.Hand wash laundry,get water to do dishes, what so ever washroom.
I was doing dishes almost the whole time we were there. I had 2 girls that helped me with dishes, they dry them, while I was washing them.
There were few people that went out their spots (forgot what they call it there) did their work. There are people that go out on five or six day camp else where to do other things that requires rock sampling and what not.
I'll add more in the future.

Sarpa Lake

Yesterday, we arrived here at Sarpa Lake from Hall Beach. We were there for two days.I went there for medical.two of my co-workers were there to do her fossil samples. I helped them after I saw the doctor. And we waited for the helicopter, we got here at supper time. Which is was great to be back to stay here at beautiful senary. and co-workers are great to work with.
This morning I stayed here again to clean the kitchen and other little things. Probably going to stay here and do cleaning all day again, I don't mind because I get to ask questions other than meaning of the rocks...I get to ask what is what, regards to whole idea of coming here or geology.
I have took pictures yesterday, I will take more today and upload them later in the future.

Sarpa Lake

We got here on Monday July 20th, and we are going back on 22. I had a day off, by choice. This morning I had appointment with a doctor, he suggest that I should get another medication. This afternoon, local co-worker,another worker and I were working on her fossils. We labeled and put them on buckets so that she can send them to Iqaluit.
It was fun but hard at the same time. Didn't think there would alot of them. They were heavy too.that pretty much what I can say for today.

Sarpa Lake

I am now working as a Geo science. I started working last Thursday. That was mid July, it's going great start. I have learned that certain rocks and locations makes alot of difference. Alot of meaning to each location and mineral.
I will take pictures later in the future and show the people that worked there and what we have done.
